Yarrow (Achillea millefolium) is a species with a broad, international distribution and a penchant for growing in diverse and often harsh site conditions. Yarrow Patch experiments with how we can embrace and work with such species to create lively, engaging, and dynamic plantings that are also inexpensive and require little management in the forgotten slivers of our built environment. This forgotten sliver sits at the heel of 1.5 acres of an asphalt parking lot.
